"But why, Danny? I thought things were going so well-"
"Smartass. I meant between Tess and me."

"What, you don't believe me?"
"You've said 'it's over' at least four times in the past year. What makes this any different?"
"My ring is gone."
"For now."
"No, for good. It's at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean."
"…"
"Rusty?"
"I appreciate you leaving your wife for me, Danny-boy, but there was no need for dramatics. You could have sold the ring for a decent amount of money."
"Wouldn't have been as satisfying."
