Yes I know it's been really long, but I do own #4, 5 and 6 now so when I get more time at school I'll type 5 and 6 out. As I did promises to post a Slash/Yaoi oneshot for each of the manga I own. And this own is the forth one in that promises. Kazuma's quotes taken from volume four.

"He left me." A simple whimper escaped the hellhound's lips, not loud enough for those around him to hear, if there had been anyone around to hear.

"You'd better watch out"

Nora was sitting in a tree; his shoulders slumped forward making him look small. He knew Kazuma was planning something, when he left Nora training to make his magical tool, his weapon; it was something really big and important. "He left me…" the dog of destruction tried to think back, trying to think of a hint of what could be impotent enough for Kazuma to leave him.

"You've made my life interesting."

Could Nora a freak of a legendary race mean as much to the human as he had become to him? Nora remembered the nights that they had spent in each other's company.

"Whatever the price I'm willing to pay it."

Even if it meant they couldn't see each other, never to be together again, Nora held back tears. What could his human, his…Kazuma be planning?

"You'd better watch out"

Could Kazuma be watching him, judging him? The demon ran his fingers through his hair before jumping down from the tree. Whatever his master…as much as he denied it to everyone else Nora did think of Kazuma as his master, and every time Nora thought of him like that a small shiver of pleasure ran though him. Whatever Kazuma had planned Nora wasn't going to be a burden, he had soul fragments to find.

Vice President Koyuki Hirasaka as she told him to call her lead him to the café Kazuma had been at one battle before. In the dark of the night Kazuma and Nora had let their barriers down more and more, but in public they had to wear masks to prevent unwanted attention to be drawn to them.

No one could know the pain, how hard it had been to act as if he didn't care to say no to the information the snitch was taunting him with about his master. To help his master now he had to search for the soul fragments of ol' ugly. Kazuma's last words before he disappeared entered his mind.

"You'd better watch out"

Was this a test? During the day he could act as the demon he made himself out to be, during the day he was ordered to perform, during the day he could be strong, but in the silence of the cold night there was no Kazuma to tell him about the human world's problems, about simple things, about heavy things like love and…fear.

Nora couldn't achieve his rest in those lonely nights,

"You'd better watch out"

A single tear escaped the boy's closed eyes; finally it was safe to let his mask down.

"You'd better watch out"

Nora hoped that meant that Kazuma would come back.
