Chapter 1: The Present

Notes: Just an idea that ran through my head about Kaoru possibly being from another dimension. Spoilers for Acts 43-44. Rating is K+ for now, but it may change to T. Since Act 44 has not yet aired, Kaoru might turn out to be OOC.
She was lost, but that was impossible. She had been walking these roads ever since she could walk. But impossibilities aside, she was lost. Then, she heard swords clashing nearby, a good sign for her, as her friends might be nearby. She hurried towards the sound, but she stopped when she saw the source.
Oh, they were the Shinkengers all right, but there was one major difference (and yet another impossibility). Shinken Red, Shinken Blue, Shinken Green, and Shinken Gold were clearly guys; while Shinken Pink and Shinken Yellow were obviously girls. That was impossible.
After all, she was Shinken Red.
