This story takes place waaay back before the preview of the new YGO movie. However, I want Jaden to have his old look from before he met Yubel in this fic for the moment. Also, the reason why there are two versions is because a friend of mine wanted to make the story a little different but I wanted to it to stick to my original storyline. Plus I didn't want to be mean like "No way this is my story make your own!" So I compromised and the 2nd version we're doing together. I'll upload that one once we get some ideas.

Both versions may have some of the same storyline written so plz read version 1 first and in version 2 I'll let you know when there is any different descripitions.

Summary: Jaden receives a bad letter from 4kids saying that Yu-Gi-Oh is going to be canceled if he and the other main characters don't do anything else besides playing Duel Monsters. Jaden, along with Yusei, Yugi and Atem, decide to start a rock band. How will it work out?

Chapter 1: The Letter

So far it was a normal day for Jaden and Syrus at Duel Academy. Right now they are walking down the hallway. "Alright!!!!" Jaden said excitingly. "Wh-what, Jaden?" Syrus asked. "What are you so excited about?" "Didn't you hear?" Jaden replied. "There's a new Yu-Gi-Oh movie coming up! And not only am I gonna be in it but Yugi is too!" "No way! The King of Games too?" Syrus asked surprised. But he then remembered something, and said, "Hey wait a minute! This all sounds familiar! Didn't you mention that there was gonna be another new movie coming up earlier with you and Yugi in it but it was canceled?" "I know that, Sy…" Jaden responded sadly. "But this movie is going to be different! It's also gonna have a new main character!" "A new main character?" Syrus asked. "His name is Yusei Fudo," Jaden replied. "I never really met him, but I'll bet it's gonna be sweet having him around!" "I bet it will be," Syrus agreed.

Syrus stood in silence. "Though I wish they didn't have to cancel the other new movie…" He said sadly. "You mean 'Yu-Gi-Oh VS. GX'?" said Jaden. "Yeah, that movie would've been sweet too... Kazuki Takahashi was even planning on reviving Atem. But he didn't want to betray the theme of the original YGO... But people wanted Atem to come back!" "Well, look on the bright side, Jaden," said Syrus. "At least Mr. Takahashi gave you the chance to verse Yugi in the very last two episodes of GX. Atem did appear in the ending after all" "True," Jaden agreed, smiling. "How was the duel anyway?" Syrus asked. "Was it fun?" "Best duel I've had in my entire life!" Jaden replied. "I wish we could duel again." "Well, I did hear rumors that you, Yugi and Yusei will be dueling against each other using D-wheels in a 5D's special," said Syrus. "Yeah, but that was before the movie," said Jaden.

All of a sudden, Bastion came in holding a letter. "Jaden, this letter is for you," he said. "Thanks, Bastion!" said Jaden, and he took the letter. Bastion then left. Jaden opened the letter. After reading it, he was stunned. This worried Syrus a little. "Jaden, what's wrong?" He asked. Jaden was still frozen. He has never been this shocked before.

"…No… way…"

"Jaden! What's the matter?"

"Syrus! Something's wrong! Call all the Yu-Gi-Oh characters!"

"Which ones?"

"All of them!"

"Is it an emergancy?"

"Yes! Everyone has to know about this! Just go! Hurry!"

"O-okay…!"

With that, Syrus and Jaden went separate ways.

Yeah I know this chapter is short but there was nothing else I could think of writing so I just stopped here. But I hope you liked the story! As for the "Yu-Gi-Oh VS. GX" movie, that part is true. If you want the website to it let me know. Anyway, plz review! ^.^
