Grief x Ruki ONE SHOT
Date written: February 2011
Genre: Love/Hurt/Tragedy
Disclaimer: I don't own Ruki of the GazettE and the song "Reila"
A/N: Hello there ya all! I'm here again Fukaito, posting a new oneshot fanfic based on the GazettE's song "Reila". We all know that the song was actually based on Ruki's girlfriend who committed suicide, so I thought to write how he mourned for her death and how hard it has been for him to move on even years have already passed by.
But still, I know that in reality, Ruki or the band itself is the only who knows the real story behind the song, cause God knows! Anyway here is a short recession inspired by the song. Reviews would be lovely :) constructive criticisms are also accepted!
Now read on...
He was just lying there in the bed. He remained in there for hours, letting the darkness cast its shadow over him. He was all alone, thoughts of her consuming in his mind... the memories, the pain, and the hurt... sadness over flows within. He couldn't cry. He always hates himself every time he feels like crying. It makes him weak, it makes him feel the guilt. He could feel his heart aching. All he remembers is her beautiful blue eyes, weeping for him not to leave her. She was begging him to stay, but he didn't listen and left her without even saying goodbye instead. If only he could turn back the time... if only he could tell her how much he loved her and that he had already forgiven the lie she made up, for the sake of his happiness. He glances to his side, and that part of the bed was empty. She used to be there, and together they would talk about life and what they wanted for their future. Being with her was like a dream, but now that she's already gone... he knows that everything will never be the same again, without the woman he ever loved in his life.
Years had gone by, he wakes up one morning and looks around, waiting for her to bring his breakfast. It was really hard, especially when he went to the garden. He would see her there arranging the flowers as she smells their scent, and then she will look at him and give her sweetest smile. But it was just all an illusion... she will never return. The Reila that he had loved for a long time is gone forever. Tears began to flow from his eyes. It was the first time he cried since her death. He wanted to scream, to call for her name so that she will come back, so that they could start all over again... but deep inside him, he knew, no matter what he do... all that's left are wonderful memories of her.
