THE NEW BATMAN
No one would have really believed him. Damian Wayne alive again? Impossible! The one they called Batman was the one that killed the monster that tried to destroy Gotham. But no. Dave saw everything. He saw the decapitation, the way the hero fell. It was the day Batman's identity was revealed. Bruce Wayne's identity was revealed during his funeral. All the heroes were there, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, Atom, Black Canary, and even him….. Lex Luthor himself. David Wayne was brothers with the animal and when he found out his dad was Batman, and that he was the one that had his head sliced off by escrima sticks, Dave lost it. He vowed to his father he would take over and be Batman himself. But the first on his hit list was easy. The list looked like this:
Damian, Harvey, Clayface, Joker, Harley,
And so on. Alfred had met up with him at the Wayne Manor and asked if he would like to see what his father had been hiding from him the entire time. He watched Alfred pull a book from a shelf and it turned the shelf like in a movie. He then saw the Batcave itself. He saw all of his costumes, and decided this was where he would stay. Alfred did everything to support him. But he didn't support when he saw what he was going to do with them. Dave got into the costume that his father wore most of the time and grabbed gadgets such as the batclaw, the batarangs, and the line launcher. This would be the chapter of the new Batman. He batclawed out of the cave and got into the batmobile. "Where are you getting this stuff, Dad?" Dave asked in his head. He got through the cave and explored Gotham in a way he did not expect he would explore it in. He did not go for Damian immediately, for that would be the grand finale. Instead, he headed for the second person on his list. Harvey Dent. Dave went around Gotham asking the cops where Harvey was being held. One of them replied that he was in Arkham City. He drove home to the batcave, and realized. Why didn't those cops wonder why there was a new Batman? He shrugged and got to the cave, and found the BatWing. He traveled to Arkham, not knowing he would stay there for a while. He found a courtyard in Arkham as he traveled across buildings around the city. There were Two-Face thugs there. "I must be getting closer." he said to himself. David silently dropped down using the technique he learned in the device his father held. One of the thugs saw him and chuckled. "Look at the new Batman!" David stood and said, "That's right." as he batclawed up to a balcony, making it seem he disappeared. "Hey!" a thug said. David whispered to himself. "This will be a tough job. But not tough for Batman." He jumped down the balcony and grabbed the thugs together. A mysterious deep voice said, "That's enough." He turned and saw the man himself. Two-Face. Batman smashed the two heads together and said. "Nice to meet you." Harvey took out a pistol and then it went black. David woke up in Arkham Asylum being tied by Croc, Clayface, and Joker. "What is the meaning of this?" Dave questioned. "We're just playing around!" Joker said and laughed in a high voice. "Yes we are..." A familar voice said in the background.
