A/N: Just a quick note, Waffle is the puppy that Nicole (from Akatsuki Chaos, my other fic) gave Deidara for Valentines Day.

:::There's a New Good Boy in Town:::
Deidara was walking through the dimly lighted halls of the Akatsuki base. You could hear his footsteps echo of the walls and softer pair padding behind him.
He spun around. "Why the hell are you still following me, yeah?"
The small dog stared up at him with innocent eyes its tail wagging. Deidara eyed it for a moment then decided to continue on his path.
"Stupid mutt." He muttered quietly to himself.
They continued walking like that, dog following its master, until Deidara stopped in front of a door. He opened it, went in and shut it before the small dog had a chance to enter the room itself!
It stood there in front of the door, waiting for his master to open the door and let him in. After a few minutes, the small dog decided to remind its master that he forgot something outside.
It scratched the door lightly with its paw then plopped itself down and whined.
From inside, you could hear a slightly muffled "Shut up!" causing it to whine even louder.
This continued until Deidara swung the door open and glared at the puppy.
Said puppy, wagged it's vigorously and then happily trotted inside. Deidara sighed and closed the door before plopping down on his bed and continuing to mold a piece of clay into one of his infamous birds.
The puppy wandered around the room until it spotted a pair of ninja sandals at the foot of the bed. He sniffed them lightly then started to chew on one of the shoes.
Deidara was molding his clay, not really paying attention, when a sound at the foot of his bed woke him up from lala land.
"What the…? No! Bad dog! Let go of my shoes!"
The small dog yipped and jumped away from its master before he could bonk him on the head.
Deidara glared at the pup then scooped up his shoes and put them, wiping away some of the dog slobber.
Then he stepped out of the room, the dog still following him, and once again walked down the hallway.
The both of them entered the kitchen where Deidara plucked one of the left over waffles from Tobi's cooking this morning out of the microwave, poured half the syrup bottle on it then started munching on the treat.
The puppy stared up at him.
Deidara glanced at it. "No."
It continued eyeing the piece of food in his hand.
"I said no!"
Still staring
Deidara sighed exasperatedly and tossed the rest of the waffle on the floor where the small dog quickly gobbled it up.
"…I think I'll call you Waffle."
The pup, now known as Waffle looked up and barked happily then finished consuming the waffle.
All was quiet for a minute until and ear piercing "Hi senpai!" bounced of the walls and Tobi came into the room.
"Hi senpai! How are you? You're eating the waffles! Hi doggy! Do you like the waffle's? Tobi is a good boy! I like pie!" And other similar phrases we're yelled at Deidara and Waffle.
Deidara was just about to trey and blow Tobi to smithereens when he heard a loud scream come from Tobi.
Tobi screamed even louder and ran out of the room, a hole in his cloak, pant and smiley face boxers where a mall bit of his bottom stuck out.
Deidara stared at the door for a minute then his gaze slowly drifted down to the small dog next to him.
Waffle wagged his tail happily with the pieces of Tobi's clothes still in his mouth.
Deidara smirked.
"Good boy."
