BAD DREAM

Post "An Evil Game". At this point, I've only seen the first twenty-nine episodes of Lost Galaxy, so I apologize if I don't have everything right. Power Rangers belongs to Haim Saban and Nickelodeon. I seem to recall a reading a story with this type of a plotline on the site a few years back, but can no longer find it. However, if it's still here, no infringement is intended. Deals with past child abuse.
Leo tossed and turned in his sleep, letting out a small moan. Leo screamed as Deviot shot electricity at him. The monster laughed. Then, the scene shifted. Leo scrambled backwards, trying to escape, to no avail. His shirt was grabbed and he was raised to his feet. Then, he was slammed against a wall and he let out a small cry. Kai let out a small moan as he awakened by his roommate's cries.
"Leo?" he asked. Leo cried out softly, waking Damon.
"What's going on?" the Green Ranger wondered. Leo cried out again, this time louder. Instantly, Mike was awake.
"Leo?" he asked, climbing out of his bed.
"No! No, please! Please, not again!" Leo exclaimed, tossing and turning.
"Leo!" Mike cried, rushing to the other bed. Oh, man. He hasn't had a nightmare like this for years, he thought to himself as he knelt down. "Leo, come on. Wake up, bud," he encouraged, shaking his younger brother's shoulder. Leo whimpered.
"No, no, no! Please! I'm sorry! No!" he yelled in fright.
"Come on, Leo. Wake up," the older boy said.
"What's going on?" Damon and Kai turned to see Maya and Kendrix.
"He's locked in some kind of nightmare," Damon answered. Leo's thrashing intensified.
"No! No! Please! Mike! MIKE! MIKE, HELP!" he screamed.
"Leo, wake up! It's just a dream!" Mike called, trying to steady the boy.
"MIKE!" Leo called, jerking upright. He panted, staring at his brother with wide eyes.
"It's okay. It's okay, Little Brother. You're safe," Mike assured, wrapping Leo in a hug.
"He wouldn't stop," Leo said.
"I know," Mike stated in a choked voice.
"You weren't there. He wasn't stopping and you weren't there."
"It's okay. You're okay. You know I'd never let him hurt you again." Mike gripped his brother tighter and his eyes clouded as Leo began to sob. Maya, Damon, Kendrix, and Kai stared at each other in confusion. What was going on? "It's okay, Little Brother. I got you. He's never gonna hurt us again. Never again. He'll never hurt us again." The other four Rangers stared at each other grimly as they realized what Mike was alluding to. He and Leo had been abused, and whatever Trakeena and her goons had done to Leo had reminded the Red Ranger of what he had been put through. Mike held Leo as he continued to cry. His eyes darkened. Trakeena was going to pay for putting this fear back into Leo. He'd see to it if it was the last thing he ever did.
