For J.J. Psycho and anyone else who doubted I would do this. Don't own, don't sue.

-huff,-huff-

Hibari panted heavily, his breath clouding in the air. The world was so cold, so dark, and it was all that stupid illusionist's fault. That damn illusionist. So far, he had only bruised him. He hadn't even bothered to pierce Hibari's skin.

He was toying with Hibari, but he didn't sense you were there, cloaked in the shadows, watching.

"HERBIVORE." Hibari growled dangerously into the surrounding darkness.

"Kufufufufu... Mada mada, Hi-ba-ri."

"Shut the hell up and COME OUT." Hibari leaned tiredly against a wall. Who knew that he could possibly hurt so damn much?

"Kufufufu... and what if I don't?"

Hibari rammed his tonfa into the wall, decimating it easily. "If you don't, I'll tear this place down, brick by brick."

You sat in silence, a bead of cold sweat dripping down your face. Someone would hear you. Someone would hear the sweat trickle down your face. You hold still, waiting for your luck to run out, and keep watching.

"Oho? Really now... would you really want to do that?"

Does that mean that he knew where you were?

"SHUT UP." Hibari lashed out towards the voice, feeling his tonfa hit something solid. A single pink flower petal drifted down lazily. A floral scent began to fill the air. It was intoxicating, and... pink. Sakura.

You could see it. Strength... it was draining from Hibari's body ever so slowly. Dr. Shamal... he said he cured me... The thought of disbelief was plain on Hibari's face. He began to wobble unsteadily, the ground underneath him seeming to lurch. He tasted something metallic in his mouth. Blood. Damn illusionist. Using this underhanded blow...

"Tch. You think you've won, herbivore?"

"Kufufufu... I know I've won. The voice hailed him from the top of the tree, drawling lazily. Mukuro stood on a lower bough, his trident biting into the cherry wood. "Hibari... You will NEVER learn, will you?"

Hibari spat venomously at the base of the tree that caused him so much pain. "Give it back," he hissed at the daunting fugure.

"Oh, what? This?" Mukuro dangled a red cloth band in front of Hibari's face. "You really want it back... then here. Catch."

Hibari snatched the fluttering cloth out of the air. Unfurling it, he felt something brush against his fingers. Snake. He rolled a sakura blosson in the band. He crumpled to the ground, the sash forgotten.

"You IDIOT!" Hibari roared, feeling his strength ebbing away.

"Kufufu..." Mukuro chuckled darkly as he hopped down from the tree, pausing momentarily to kneel at Hibari's side. Bending down, he whispered into the cloud guardian's ear.

"Kamikorosuyo."
