Note* I'm working really hard to finish and update on my stories, but don't get mad at me if it takes a while, I'm starting college ( this summer, ugh...) My Godfather's New Boyfriend
"Harry, are you going to be alright? I don't have to leave right away." the young boy asked his godfather.
Teddy Lupin had been living with his godfather his whole life. His parents died in the war, leaving a teenage Harry Potter with the responsibility of fathering a baby. It wasn't easy for Harry, who never had a normal family life and with the burden the war left, that laid heavy upon his heart, he gratefully accepted help from whoever would give it to him. Which lead to his marriage to Ginny Weasley. It didn't take long before the marriage went down hill and Ginny's real character was revealed. After an ugly divorce, Harry was left with a eight year old godson and no where and no one to turn to. Teddy hated the woman who used his godfather for his money. She never loved him and was always bringing in strange men and buying loads of worthless stuff. And when she left, the Weasley family went with her. But it didn't matter, from that day on Teddy swore to take care of his sweet, broken godfather. As Harry raised Teddy, Teddy did the same to Harry.
"Teddy, if you don't leave right now you will be late. I'm fine, sure I'm going to miss you, but I'll make it." Harry smiled sadly up at his godson.
"Harry…" Teddy started to say.
" It seems like just yesterday you were a little boy, now you are all grown up and heading off to be someone important. Heck I have to crane my neck back just to look at you" Harry chuckled sadly, tears starting to spill from his eyes.
" It's not my fault you're so short." Teddy teased.
It was true, Harry had never grown past 5'4 and was very skinny. Where as Teddy was 6'1 and bulked with muscle from training.
"You know that I might not be able to call you for awhile because of the mission, but I promise that the first chance I get I'll call, alright? Now I want you to promise me that you will eat three meals a day. No skipping out on eating. Your skinny enough, you don't need to be losing more weight." Teddy said sternly, picking up his luggage. It was time for him to go. His life as an Auror was about to start.
" I promise Teddy, take care of yourself, okay? I'm really proud of you." with that said, Harry pulled Teddy down and kissed his cheek and Teddy activated the portkey and was gone.
