Puissance
Authors Note – Just a little blurb I came up with and I know it's probably not original. I just
wrote this last night in about 10 minutes after I watched the movie again. This may turn into
something more than just this little blurb. It all depends on how inspired I am to continue it.
Reviewing would help *hint hint*. Just kidding. You don't have to, but I would like to know
what you guys think even though its really short and honestly I don't think its very good.
Anyway...

I am Percy Weasley. I was a Hogwarts Head Boy, I have 6 siblings, I am a pure blood, and I am
a Death Eater.
Call it what you will, I'm only doing what I have to do. If you don't want to fight for what you
want then you don't deserve it. I want power, so I'm taking it.
Its not like I particularly enjoy torturing people like some of my colleagues do. I don't really find
it pleasant to cast Crucio on someone. However its what I have to do. If I don't, then I don't
have the power. The second I refuse to do what I have been brought in to do Voldemort will kill
me. What good is it then? As long as I go along with it Voldemort grants me power.
When I decided to do this, I immediately moved out of the Burrow. I didn't give mum and dad
an honest reason. All I told them was I wanted my own place. Of course if I was still there I'd
have close access to Harry Potter. He is Ron's best friend. However now that we are rising,
Dumbledore will not let the boy visit. Waiting around for my old headmaster to change his mind
would leave me open to exposure. I do have a nosy mother and four siblings still living at home.
I don't think my family is on to me yet. Mom still owls and asks if I want to come for dinner,
Dad still finds me at the ministry and talks to me when he's not busy, and my siblings always
seem happy to see me when they do. When they do figure out what I'm up to, that will all be
over. I don't think it will take them long. One of them is bound to find out. No doubt Fred,
George, Ron, or Ginny will get tipped off by Draco Malfoy, but it all depends on if they will
believe him.
I'm not exactly fond of turning on my family like this. However I didn't exactly have a choice.
After all, there is only power and those to weak to seek it.
