"Hi." She stood in front of him, her breath visible in the cold night air.
"What are you doing here?" Dan asked, quickly wrapping his jacket around her.
"I just.."
"You're supposed to be in South America."
"I know. I changed my mind." She murmured, watching as the snow cascaded down and into his hair.
"Why?"
His cheeks were rosy from the cold, arms crossed against his chest to keep himself warm. "Aaron's falling in love with me." She whispered, the air in front of her mouth was one of the only indications that she was speaking.
"Then you should be with him, shouldn't you?" He asked bitterly, looking down at his feet.
"I don't want to." She muttered, taking a step towards him. "If you feel anything for me, now would be the time to speak up. Now would be the time to tell me what you feel for me, to show me what you feel for me."
"What happens if I don't?"
"I go back to Aaron and we pretend this never happened."
Dan grasped her by the shoulders, hands running up and down her arms. "What do you feel for me?"
"I asked you first." The air from her breath was merely millimeters away from his face.
"I asked you second."
"Good for you." She never broke eye contact with him, she only watched as his brown eyes traveled down to her lips.
He tentatively moved closer to her, titling his head slowly. His heart started to beat faster as her eyes fluttered shut. Licking his lips, he pressed his lips slowly to hers.
She shivered as his lips left hers and traveled down to her neck, his warm body contrasting with the snowflakes falling on them.
"Is that all you have?" She murmured, green eyes looking up at him as he stopped kissing her.
"I don't want to rush things." Dan muttered, brushing a tendril from her face.
"I want you to show me you love me. I want it now Dan. I've gone a month without being with you. Don't make me wait any longer." She begged him, running her hands up and down his chest.
"Okay." He pressed his lips to hers again, kissing her hungrily.
--
"I've missed you." She muttered between kisses as he removed her top. She hissed as his cold fingers brushed her stomach.
"Sorry." He whispered, kissing her again, pinning her arms above her head. "You're cold too."
"Vampire." She whispered, laughing.
"What?"
"Merry Christmas."
"Mhmm." Dan rolled his eyes, kissing her again.
