Skipping across the street
Happy

Following her trail of teases
It hit
She was gone
Physically, mentally, figuratively
It hit
A yellow car, sickeningly bright
It came swerving and swirling
It hit
Quick as it was there it left
It was gone
You were standing, frozen
And she was there
Lying there
You run and run and run
To her
Her small frame lay splayed across the road
Upon the cold merciless asphalt
You stroke her soft curls
Golden blond streaked with crimson
Her eyes once a bright joyful blue
Sit now on her paling face
They were ice, lifeless
You caress her white cheeks
Your hands bloodied, bright red
From the pool beneath her body
Your hands leaving tracks
Leaving stripes
Red and white
Bright read, unnatural white
The ghost of her teasing smile
Etched upon her face
They have arrived

Noise
The hustle and bustle is nothing
You're still alone
They pull you from her
Your heart ripping along the way
You never told her
You never will
The moment, too late
The tires of the ambulance screech
A harsh reminder of where you are
What you are
You're here
You're alive
So now as you sit
Still alone
Where no one would look
Because no one else knew
The fire escape
You sit
In the pouring rain
Drowning
The sky grey
Black and grey
No more blue
Bright joyful blue
You slump there in regret
Of the three words the will forever remain
Unsaid

AN: This isn't the way i normally write poems. it was more of a stream on thoughts but I liked it and I thought I'd post it. I love to hear any tips or constructive criticism on if the style of just plain flattery because we all love the warm feeling in your tummy you get from praise ^_^
