"Get out of my face," Emily murmured through clenched teeth.

"Or what? What are you going to do?"

"I'm going to kick your ass that's what."

Emily tried to back away some, but Morgan invaded her space again. "I don't think you have it in you princess. I don't think you'll do anything. You don't have the balls. That's the thing about you Emily. You can stand back and let people say all sorts of things about you, and it may piss you off but in the end you won't do a single thing to change anyone's mind. You may think you're a badass, but I beg to differ." Morgan gave a small smirk and started to walk away from the now seething Emily Prentiss.

Emily knew she should be thinking about what she's doing, and she should be thinking about the fact that her entire team was standing there watching her and Morgan have a heated exchange but at the moment, she didn't give a shit. "Morgan!" she yelled.

Morgan swirled around, ready to add more remarks to his speech when Emily's fist collided with his jaw. His hand quickly went up to his face and rubbed it. "What the hell Emily!" He cried out as he took a step towards her.

Emily smiled at the blood she saw collected at his lip. "Oh, gee I'm sorry Morgan. I thought you said I wasn't going to do anything."

The team looked on as the two agents took another step closer to each other. "Emily, I didn't start this and who are you to punch me?" He screamed in her face.

"Who am I? Who the hell are you to say all of that to me? If you believe that, then you obviously don't know me. At all! And I didn't start this either Morgan! You're not better than any of us! You may be more muscular, but there is nothing about you that makes you more special than any of us." She countered.

Hotch finally walked in between the two agents, using his body to protect Emily. "You need to back off Morgan," he growled.

"Me? I didn't even do anything Hotch. She hit me! Did you see that?"

"Oh, we saw it Morgan," Dave snickered behind the younger profiler.

"Are you even going to do anything about it Hotch? Or is she just going to get away with hitting me?" He questioned his boss.

"Dave take Morgan to your office and get him to calm down. Prentiss," he said as he turned to face her, "my office. Now!"

Emily held her head up high as she walked into Hotch's office with him quickly following behind her. "I'm not apologizing Hotch. He started it and then he wanted to say all this shit about me? I'm not saying I'm sorry because I'm not. He deserved it and I would do it again, so write me up, suspend me if you have to but he's not getting an apology," she ranted on quickly.

Hotch walked in front of Emily and placed his hands on her shoulders. "Prentiss, calm down. As your superior I have to say that you shouldn't have done that Emily. You could have come to me and I would have taken care of everything for you. I don't condone what you just did back there. And if Strauss hears about this, I'm not sure I'll be able to get you out of it. But as your friend, I don't expect you to apologize to him. He was an ass, and in all honesty he's lucky that was all you did to him. And good for you by the way. And if anyone asks, I will deny ever saying those words to you," he said flashing her a dimpled small smile that seemed to have the effect to calm her down.
