Yellow

Simba walked down the along the stream, that ran down from the waterfall and green underbrush along a yellow and deserted path.

The sky above was cloudy and it had just rained the night before. Timon and Pumbaa were off hunting grubs and living their care free life. He on the other hand desired some time to be alone with his thoughts.

It had been many years since he had seen any of his pride. He hadn't really given his future much thought after his father died, and Timon and Pumbaa helped him along with thief carefree lifestyle over the years, in the wake of that terrible time in his life.

He wandered along the stream until he came to a big opening were the stream ran down a gully and into a larger stream that carried the rest of the water downstream. The surrounding area was surrounded by yellow tall grass.

At that moment all Simba could think of was the life he left behind when he ran across that desert, nearly killing himself in the process.

"At this moment," Simba thought as he looked at the water flowing downstream.

"I should be getting my mantlement, I should be getting ready to take the throne, to be......King...." Simba thought.

"But what's the difference? I'm a rogue. A lion without a pride." Simba continued.

"Right now I should be making love to Nala." he thought.

"Nala....." Simba smiled at that thought of his friend.

He then began walking down the stream. It was cloudy and begining to get dark with the ever boading sun setting in the west.

Coldplay - Yellow

Look at the stars,
Look how they shine for you,
And everything you do,
Yeah, they were all yellow.
I came along,

I wrote a song for you,
And all the things you do,
And it was called Yellow.
So then I took my turn,
Oh what a thing to have done,
And it was all yellow

Your skin
Oh yeah, your skin and bones,
Turn into something beautiful,
You know, you know I love you so,
You know I love you so.

I swam across,
I jumped across for you,
Oh what a thing to do.
Cos you were all yellow

I drew a line,
I drew a line for you,
Oh what a thing to do,
And it was all yellow

Your skin,
Oh yeah your skin and bones,
Turn into something beautiful,
And you know for you,
I'd bleed myself dry for you,
I'd bleed myself dry.

It's true, look how they shine for you,
Look how they shine for you,
Look how they shine for,
Look how they shine for you,
Look how they shine for you,
Look how they shine.

Look at the stars,
Look how they shine for you,
And all the things that you do.

"Nala....where ever you are....I love you." Simba said out loud.

Simba then trailed off back into the jungle, still thinking of the lioness he loved. He knew this deep down inside, but he also knew that he might never see her again for as long as he lived.
