My eyes flew open. I could see the details in the pink ceiling, the small little decorative flowers and grape carved in.I turned on my side to see a face that made me smile.
Laying in be naked next to me was John Smith as I knew him the Doctor, but being human meant that he needed a new name, since the Doctor would be pretty strange for a man that's never been to medical school.
I brushed the hair from his face and kissed his forehead. His eyes shot open and he smiled his gentle smile. "Hello Mrs. Smith." "Hello Mr. Smith."
my new last name was smith, I mean after I got married I thought it would be nice to take his name. I liked it, Smith so plain but so perfect, since the two of us were anything but plain.
We had seen things no one could ever even dream of. but those days were gone, without a TARDIS traveling wasn't as much fun.
but I always wanted to go to the little island called St. maarten, a little island off the coast of South America. "oi we'd better get up before they stop serving breakfast." the Doctor smiled "alon-sy!" I chuckled. he sprang up out of bed and start to throw on his clothes. I threw on my bra and put on a cute little dress John had bought for me. I kissed him and took his hand "I think I want to try something new for breakfast." I said with a smile.
" I think this is the best fruit I've ever had!" Well then you haven't tried the fruit on planet one." he ranted. the diamond cliffs, it's fantastic."he said a mouth full of pancakes in his mouth. "sheesh you don't have to rub it in John." I mocked. It was so strange calling him John. John still wasn't used to it yet. but I really couldn't be any happier.
And then it all changed, with just one phone call.
My mobile started to vibrate. I took it out and read the name on the screen.
"it's torchwood," I moaned
"Did you tell them were on our honeymoon?" he whined."yeah, but they said that they would only call if they really needed us." We both looked at each other for a few seconds and then I snapped it open. "What happened?" "Rose I know you're on your honey moon." Jack said apologetically
"but we really need you two, and I mean now!" "Well how the hell are we supposed to get there?" John looked at me in confusion. "Look up." I stared up at the blindingly blue sky and over head to see the Valiant hovering over head. Everyone around us stared at the sky.
"Well this is a disaster..." I mumbled. I grabbed onto John, "Whatever we're getting ourselves into I just want you to know that I love you."
He squeeze my hand and said, "I love you too" and then we boarded onto the Valiant.
