His blood was boiling.

Words were being spoken to him but all he heard was nothing.

She was gone. Lost in this hell of a world all because of Rick.

He saw red. Daryl knew Rick was trying to make sense of it, but he didn't care.

"I had to." is all Daryl could hear him say.

That was it for him. "You had no fucking right. Carol has been family since the beginning and now you threw her to her death. This little decision of yours didn't just get rid of her, but you also got rid of me." Daryl spoke in a low angry voice, almost a growl.

Storming off he left the group in ah. He didn't care anymore. This wasn't his family, no his family was dead. The only thing he ever truly cared about in his entire life was out wandering the world all alone.

Making his way to his cell he grabbed his things not giving a damn about starring eyes. He had to find her.

Rick had made his way to his cell now. "You ain't changing my mind. I don't give a damn about why you did what you did, she's family and you left her."

Daryl growled at him once more.

"Daryl, she killed two of our own. I had to think of what would protect us." Ricks words meant nothing.

Looking up from his packing he meet Ricks eyes with an icy stare. "I love her you know." Daryl felt his eyes start to sting but he continued.

"I've never loved someone before. Every time I came close someone came and took away. She was different though. I knew she wasn't going anywhere, but you had to destroy that. I've fallen too deep for you to take this away from me. I love Carol and I'm going to find her if it kills me."

Rick stood there stunned by the man in front of him.

Daryl shoved past him, not giving him the chance to respond.

Making his way towards the exit he turned back to speak out one last time.

"I'll bring her back. You have a few days to think, but just so you know, if you don't want her here, then you don't want me back."

With that he left, and didn't look back.

Heading to his bike Daryl looked to the others of his group. They stood there stunned probably still in shock at everything that had happened. He was still shocked, but at this point his body had taken over.

The bike roared to life as he mounted it. His heart pounded with determination. There wasn't a doubt in his mind he'd find her, or he was going to die trying.

Driving towards the entrance Daryl noticed no one moving to open the gate. For a moment, everyone paused. No one moved just between one another. Just as Daryl was about to say something Glenn emerged from the small group. Moving towards him Glenn put a hand on his shoulder, "Bring her back safe." Glenn looked over his shoulder and then back to Daryl, "For all of us."

He was a little surprised by his words. To be honest he hadn't known what the others though, he just knew what he thought.

Looking between Glenn and the group he gave a nod. He wasn't much for emotions, but this was his family, and for all he knew it would be his last time seeing them.

"Stay safe and protect one another. I'll be back as soon as I can." Daryl swallowed. "But if I'm not, I want to say thank you. Ya'll are the closest thing I've ever had a to family."

Small smiles were exchanged, and Beth stepped forward. "We love you too Daryl. Now go bring Carol home."

Giving a nod he looked to Glenn for the gate. He nodded and opened the gate for him. The engine roared as he flew through the gate. Walkers past him in blurry images but he wasn't afraid. There was only one thing on his mind, and that was finding the little woman he fell in love with.
