Disclaimer: Not Mine!
Some Sam/Jules fluff. Much more cheerful than my other story. Enjoy!
Everywhere he turned in that house, he found sugar, in one form or another. Opening the drawer to hand her a pair of pants, he found a small pile of Jolly Ranchers in one corner. Making a face as he picked one up, he turned to her. In response, she grabbed it and popped it in her mouth, yanking the pants from the drawer with a grin.
...
Reaching for the paint cans, he saw a bowl filled with foil wrapped chocolate on a table. He reached for one, but a hand slapped his away and stole one for herself.
"Hey!" he protested, but she merely smiled, before letting her teeth sink into the creamy candy.
...
Just because she loved sugar, didn't mean she didn't eat healthy. Inside her refrigerator he found broccoli and chicken – and nestled between the two was a pint of mint ice cream.
"Jules – why is there ice cream in your fridge?"
"Because that way it stays soft and melted," she replied, her tone just begging for a 'Duh' to be added on to the end of her sentence. She took the pint and grabbed a spoon, slowly licking it, drop by drop. Sam reached out and grabbed her wrist, making the spoon clatter to the floor.
"Sam – " she protested, but she was cut short when his lips crashed into hers, and she forgot why she was angry at all. She put the container down on the counter next to her and wrapped her arms around him, pulling him closer to her. He pushed her back and she hopped on the counter to get more height. She knocked over the pint and the mostly melted ice cream spilled out. It got on the hand she had used to prop herself up, but she could care less. She went back to running her fingers through his hair, effectively coating his head in melted green sugary milk.
"You're all sticky," he murmured as he kissed her.
"So are you," she giggled.
"I think," his lips dove in for another kiss before he continued, "this calls for a shower."
"Affirmative!"
...
Maybe sugar wasn't such a bad thing, Sam decided, as his beautiful girlfriend curled up next to him on the bed. If it led to situations like that more often, he could see buying her some extra candy every once in a while. Or, you know, every day.
