Hey nothing much for me to say here, it's a one shot, and everything is pretty much explained. Oh and if you haven't read A Change Between Us I suggest you read it. Anyway I hope you ACBU fans like it, I was asked personally to write this so I'm totally honored.
Noah walked in to his classroom. All the kids seemed kind of big for him. "All right Noah do you think you'll ok if I go to work?" Margaret asked her son. Noah hugged his small Batman and looked up at his mom, and shook his head. "Honey I know it's going to be hard, but you'll make friends." She tried to persuade him.
"I have friends. Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, and Flash." Noah said with big eyes. He put his best puppy face on. "Please momma can I go to work with you. Maybe Jade is there." He said.
Margaret looked around the small classroom, and saw Jade playing in the corner by herself. "Sweetie Jade is over there. Why don't you go play with her?" Noah looked and saw her and gasped.
"Ok momma, bye." He said quickly as he hugged her legs and ran to Jade. Margaret chuckled to herself, and left for work.
"Hi Jade." Noah said. Jade looked up and saw her best friend.
"Noah!" She hugged him. "Sit down and play with me." The two of them played for a while until the teacher, Mrs. Henderson, stood up from her seat.
"Ok class. It's time to assign seats. But first I want boys over there, and girls over here." She directed them. Then she started calling names and putting them in seats.
"Here is Carlos, and then this is Kendall." Before she could say anything else a brown furred beaver with black hair interrupted.
"Call me Ken." He said. Mrs. Henderson seemed a little annoyed, but brushed it off.
"Ken is here. Noah is here, and James here. You guys will sit at this table ok?" She asked and the boys nodded. Carlos, Ken, and James sat down at the table.
"Hi I'm James!" A brown haired boy said.
"I'm Noah." The blue jay said. Carlos was very shy and quiet. "Are you Carlos?" Noah asked him. He nodded his head shyly. "It's ok; my mommy said that you always make friends on the first day. I'll be your friend."
Carlos smiled. "Ok!" The four friends played all day, and became really good friends. When their parents came to pick them up they didn't want to leave.
"Mom can't we stay and play a little longer?" Ken asked his mom. Margaret took Noah out to her car, and when they got in he told her all about his day.
"I can't wait for tomorrow!" He proclaimed.
"Haha, my Baby Boy isn't a baby anymore." Margaret said with a laugh.
