When I opened my eyes again, I saw you.
~.~.~
"Matthew Williams, you are sentenced to death for your crimes. Do you have any last words or requests?"
"I… loved you Gilbert…" I whispered. A tear fell down my cheek.
~.~.~
"Matthew Williams, you have been convicted of the murder of Gilbert Beilschmidt. You are hereby sentenced to death by injection in one week."
I smiled sadly. Finally.
~.~.~
I love you. I think I should say that now, after all this time. I love you. Damn it, why did this happen?
You seemed so happy with me. You seemed so carefree when you were with your friends and had alcohol in your system. You always got so excited when your brother called you.
So why did you have to do this, dammit? To ME? It was such a sick way to go! You could have told me you were unhappy!
~.~.~
There was a bang, and you were down. There was a chilling silence in the air. I could hear dogs barking and my brother getting up and opening the window, only to gasp and run back into the house- perhaps to call the police. I don't know.
I stared at your dead body, uncomprehending.
I screamed.
~.~.~
"Do it."
"N-no…"
"Do it, please?"
"I-I can't…"
"Why?"
~.~.~
I stared at you as you handed me the gun. What were you doing? You walked about twenty feet away from me and faced me.
"Shoot me," you said.
"W-what?" I demanded.
"Shoot me, so I can get the hell out of here."
"Are you drunk?"
~.~.~
"I heard that the easiest way to tell if someone loves you is if they'll kill you when you want them to," you said. I gave you a strange look.
"What?" I asked.
You only grinned and changed the subject.
~.~.~
"I sort of like you," you said nervously. I blushed. "So wanna go out with me?"
"Yes," I answered immediately. How long have I been waiting for this moment?
~.~.~
I walked into class for the first time this year. The professor greeted me. It was the start of Senior year in college, finally.
And there you were, sitting next to the only available seat in the classroom. You grinned.
I smiled back.
DPMP: Gosh this is so damn SHORT!
Prussia: I'm dizzy…
Canada: That was different...
DPMP: For anybody who is confused, read the sets last to first. I wanted to do a story that was basically Matthew going back in time in his mind. From when everything went horribly wrong to the first day the two of you met.
I don't own Hetalia! Stop thinking that, ya weirdos!
