"No No it totally makes sense. It's like a giant beehive. There the workers and that's their queen'' Astrid said hopping off of Toothless and began running. ''Let's find your dad.''

''No No'' Hiccup stopped her. "No we can't they'll kill Toothless they'll... Astrid we need to think this through carefully.''

"Hiccup we just found the Dragon's Nest,'' Astrid said quite surprised. "The thing we've been after since Vikings first sailed here and you want to keep it a secret TO PROTECT YOUR PET DRAGON? ARE YOU INSANE?''

Hiccup turned to face her "Yes'' he said bravely.

Astrid stood looking surprised by his loyalty to his dragon. "OK so what are you going to do?''

"Ummm I was planning on leaving Berk with Toothless and finding a new home for us." Hiccup said nervously not even looking at her in the eye.

"WHAT WHY'' Astrid said feeling shocked by this reply.

"Because I can't kill a dragon.''

"Yeah I figured that." Astrid reply in an I-obviously-know-that tone. "But you can't leave."

"Astrid think about it. I've been outcast all my life. Why should I stay? No one cares for me besides Toothless."

"You're wrong Hiccup I care about you as well" Astrid admitted.

"You...you do?" Hiccup asked smiling.

"Well... yeah I always have. I didn't like it when the others insulted you and I don't even understand why." Astrid admitted smiling sheepishly.

"Because I'm weak scrawny and have no muscles.'' Hiccup said sadly.

"I don't think your weak." Astrid defended. "I mean sure your not burly but your smart clever good hearted loyal to your friend and pretty cute" Astrid blushed at the last comment.

"You think I'm cute?" Hiccup asked smiling. Toothless meanwhile rolled his eyes but did a dragon chuckle.

"Yeah sort of and your you know different and I like different." Astrid admitted smiling.

"All right I guess I can stay I mean it's not the perfect home and never will be but it's still home."

"Great so what are you gonna do?" Astrid asked feeling relieved.

"Just give me until tomorrow. I'll figure something out" Hiccup responded.

"Alright" Astrid said then punched him on the arm.

"That's for kidnapping me and making me admit my feelings for you."

Hiccup turned to Toothless for support but the dragon just snorted.

Astrid then pulled Hiccup closer and kissed him on the cheek surprising him.

"That's for everything else." Astrid said leaving Hiccup with a small smile on this face until Toothless stood next to him with a smirk.

"Uuughh what are you looking at?" Hiccup asked defensively and toothless just smirked and turned his head.
