Brother Enmity

It seems that I am blamed for everything,

Even when I am free from any crime.

When no one believes my words, my heart stings.

Still, it has been my brother all this time.

Innocence becomes me and has been me

For the long years of my tormented life.

Father, can your own kingly eyes not see

This is not merely a brotherly strife.

This brother's jealousy goes beyond that,

Into something more that makes him evil.

The good that once in my brother's heart sat

Is gone. Now it is me he wants to kill.

I cannot run, I cannot hide from him.

I can see pandemonium begin….
