Crystal and the Shell Monster

Once upon a time there was a mermaid and her name was Crystal. She had long, dirty blond hair that she loved to braid. Her eyes were as blue as the ocean she lived in. The scales on her tail were a sparkly aqua.
Crystal lived in Mermaid Ocean in a castle. She always loved shells. If you could not find Crystal in her castle home, you could always be sure that she was looking for more shells!
All types of shells! Big shells and little shells. Pink ones and orange ones and green ones and ones with lots of spots. Crystal found them on the bottom of the sea and around the castle. Buried in the sand or hidden in caves.
One day she saw a cave that was very beautiful and wanted to see if there were shells inside of it. Inside there were jewels, gold and silver, but all Crystal cared about was the rare rainbow shell in the very back.
Crystal swam to it as fast as she could and grabbed it. When she was going to leave, the Sand Monster jumped in front of her!
"What is your name?" the Shell Monster said.
"My name is Crystal," she told him.
"What are you doing in my cave?"
"I was looking for shells."
"What are you doing with my shell?"
"I like your shell, but if it is yours than you can have it back." Crystal handed the Shells Monster the shell and he smiled.
"Oh, you can have it, I just wanted you to ask first!"
"Thank you very much for the rainbow shell!"
