"Dad I have something to tell you" said a young red haired, roughly humanoid, duck girl; she wore a purple oversized hockey jersey with the number one on it. Her father another duck with no hair; who wore a purple sweater with no pants (This is Disney stuff so get a grip) said "what is it Gos?"
The girl named Gosalyn Mallard said "I'm not so how to say this but it's been troublingly for a long time" "what is it honey?" said her father Drake Mallard. The girl took a deep breath looked deep into his eyes and asked "can you please promise me that no matter what I say next that you will always love me and never look at me strangely or call me insane or say an insult connected with what I'm to tell you?" Her father replied "Gosalyn I promise I will never do any of that stuff; now please tell me what's wrong"
She sighed and then said" Dad I'm gay!" Her father stared in shock and puzzlement and said "huh?" She sighed and then shouted" I like the term lesbian much better" when he still didn't get it she said very clearly and very loudly "Dad I like girls and I don't like guys". Her father said "oh!" she looked at him expecting him to slap her say she was insane or throw her out of the house like had she always expected him to do and then she would snap go mad and then kill herself.
However he simply stared for a moment and said some things she'd never expected him to say; proving that all her fears were false" Gosalyn I'm so glad you told me this it must have taken a lot of courage to do what you just did I'm very proud of you and I may not exactly be comfortable at the moment with the thought of you dating other girls but… I think I can accept it if it makes you happy!" The hug she gave him now made all the others she had given him seem prophetic; she almost broke his ribs but he didn't care; neither of them did; it was a beautiful moment in their relationship as stepfather and stepdaughter.
He smiled for a moment and left her alone she smiled and pulled something out of her jersey… a cell phone which she kept for emergency or special situations; this was one of them; she dialed a number that only a few people knew and said" Grandpa I've great news my stepfather has accepted the fact that I'm a lesbian; which gives me more freedom them before in the guise of the young child and I think it's time I asked one of my two somewhat secret lovers out on a date." The voice of her wise grandfather said through the telephone link in the headquarters of the group which Gosalyn headed her grandfather then said, calmly" which one is it?" She replied with a smile" it's my first friend: Ren!" Her grandfather replied "I hope Renamon makes you happy". She replied "I know she will." She hung up with a smile and thought now that Juri had broken up with Ren she had a chance!
