The Chosen One
Summary: Cedric's thoughts on being chosen for the Triwizard Tournament.
"And the Hogwarts champion is..."
This was it. The big moment. If I got it, I could finally score a date with that Ravenclaw, Cho Chang. She is soooo hot. I'm amazed, considering my own good-looks and girl-snatching charm, that she refused me the last time I asked.
"Cedric Diggory!"
Yes! Yes, I'm in! In my books, that's as good as won. I act as though this is totally expected, and saunter up to the front, flashing my mega-watt grin at the swooning girls. I catch Cho's eye and wink, causing her to blush.
This year is going to be perfect. Almost as perfect as me.
