I do not own FMA. Not the Manga, brotherhood, or the original. If I did own the original they Ed and Winry wouldn't be separated BY TWO FREAKIN DEMENSIONS! I came up with this while reading Repunzel to my friend from my Masjid's baby brother. Read and Review Please. If you don't like it flame it. PeACe, LoVe, HApPIneSs!
She held the covers above her head and clutched on to her pillow. She was so scared and sad. Tears freely felt down her checks; she didn't know if it were from fear or angst, or maybe both. She could hear footsteps coming down the narrow hallway. She sunk into her covers even more. She heard the door creak open and she thrust the pillow above her head and rolled around.
"Winry" Ed asked with worry in his voice. He walked over to the bed and touched her shoulder. She curled up even more, which Ed thought was impossible.
"Winry, why are you crying?"
"Go away Edward."
In response Ed just walked to the other side of the bed and got in with her. He protectively cradled his arm around her. With that Winry sat up; she started at Ed as if she didn't trust him. Then she hugged him and started to cry in his arms.
"Why are you crying Winry?"
"I'm scared." She replied.
"Winry, it's okay."
"But Edward, I want my mommy and daddy." She started to sob even more
"Winry, it's okay." He hugged her tighter.
"You know, when Al and I were scared my mommy would always make me something warm to drink and then she would read us a story. It really helps."
He jumped of the bed and onto the floors. He extended his arms out to reach Winry and she graciously accepted the offer and they walked down the stairs hand in hand. Winry sat down on the table and Ed got out a bag of hot chocolate mix. He mixed in water and heated it.
"Here you go." He handed the hot chocolate to her. They both sipped there hot chocolate and Ed let out a huge burp.
"Edward," Winry exclaimed, "don't burp so loud, it's disgusting. And you have a hot chocolate mustache." His only reply was a loud moan. He never wiped it of.
"Come on, let's go upstairs, and we can listen to a story."
"Okay" squealed Winry. The two rushed up the stairs and into Winry's room. Ed opened a story

"Did you like that story Winry?"
"Yeah" She yawned. She fell asleep and subconsciously grabbed Ed's hand and wouldn't let go.
