Death Note Fanfic
One day Mat woke up and had an idea. "If I kill L, Mello, and Near, then I will have their job, and if I have their job, I will be able to make a mockery of it." He then proceeded to make a poison chocolate cake, because there was a 'Graduates of Whammy's' party tonight. So he placed the cake on the table labeled 'FOOD', and sat back to watch the chaos.
As soon as they walked into the room, Mello and L dashed for the cake and began fighting each other for it until Near came along and said "How about you two split it in half, like so." He said as he pulled out a machete and chopped the cake in half. Mello and L both immediately ate their halves, and went back to the party, but 30 minutes later, they were both… DEAD! By convulsions and foaming at the mouth.
The next morning Near's head was found in a toilet in the women's restroom, while something that may have his body was found flattened by a steam roller that night.
