Harry fely like he was floating, he had been sleeping in his bed, on the Gryffindor tower when he saw a strangely familiar white fog. Only this time, no helpless creature lay under a chair, and no Albus Dumbledore invited him for a walk, instead, he saw a man he knew very well, for he was the man he saw when he looked into a mirror, even the Mirror of Erised, the only differences were that this man had hazel eyes instead of green, and there was no scar in his forehead.
"Dad" he stated in disbelief "Hi Harry" James answered "Happy Halloween by the way!" He smiled a sideways grin, and his father mimicked him, giving Harry a bear hug, like the one he had never gotten to... "Your mother wanted to come, but we decided it was better for it to be only me this time"
They sat in a bench, it was just beside them, and they drifted into a comfortable silence, staring at each other "How are you, Son?" he asked, phrasing carefully, enjoying each word. "Can't ask for better" Harry answered, thinking about Ginny, and their peaceful days by the lake "How ´bout you...Dad?" he, too enjoyed the sound of that word in his lips, James shrugged "Can´t complain, after all, it is Heaven" he joked "How is it there?" asked Harry dreamily "You don´t have to answer" he added, noticing the fact that living people probably weren´t allowed to know "Yet, I want to" teased his father, then, sobering he added "Remember the Mirror of Erised?" Harry nodded, curious about the puzzling question "Well, it´s pretty much like that"
Harry´s eyes snapped open, Ron snoring in the bed beside his, he stood up, took the Invisibility cloak, and the Marauder´s map from his trunk, slipped quietly to the seventh floor, and entered an almost empty room. He stood proudly in front of the mirror, wondering what changes would this new information produce: he saw himself, Ginny standing beside him, her hair a bit ruffled, broomstick in her hand, as if she had just finished playing quidditch, but then he looked a bit more carefully, the redhead woman standing beside him had bright emerald eyes, and the man she was hugging, had a clean forehead and big hazel eyes.
"Heaven indeed" thought Harry as he left the room, knowing he would never be back.
After all, he could use any other mirror now.
