Long time no see! Anyways, this is a result when I hear Mine on the radio and just yeah. I can't even with Brittana right now cuz Hemo hasn't been on Glee so there's no Brittana activity going on. It's inevitable. I'm most likely gonna make this a two-shot so here ya go ^-^
Disclaimer- I do not own Glee. If I did Brittana, Tike, Klaine, Samcedes, Faberry, Jyder, Karley, Huntbastian, and Puck/Zizes whatever the hell they're called, would all be together. Smh, I can dream.
Santana sat almost emotionless in the loft, staring into space. Not really doing anything, but just thinking. Flashbacks coming to mind. Both equally happy and sad. She had a small smile play along her lips as she remembered. Remembered what, you ask?
Everything.
It all started when she was to talking to Lady Hummel and Grandma Berry last night. They were talking about work and how Gunther really need to increase their pay since those uniforms were way too tight (Santana wasn't really complaining). The radio was playing a mix of country and pop and that's when it happened. It. As in the song that shared an equivalence of sadness and joy. The very song that ended what was the best time of her high school career with someone's name that started with a B. Someone who she has never mentioned except that one time to Dani, but that shouldn't really count. Rachel and Kurt stopped talking and used their energy on sympathetic looks.
"I'll change it." Kurt said as he leaned towards the radio.
"No. It's fine. It's not like It's the plague to me. Gonna have to face it sometime or another, right?" Santana laughed, which sounded kinda fake to her housemates, but they didn't bring it up.
"Right. Well, I got a little call from someone special this afternoon thats a very pretty girl named Dani who would like to see an equally pretty lady named Santana tonight. And I might have already told her it fine to come over so she'll be here any minute. More sparkling apple juice?" Rachel rambled with one of those crazy looking smiles as she held up the bottle.
"I'm fine, Berry. And who told you that you could invite her over? Maybe I don't want Dani to be here. Ever think of that?" Santana pressed.
Rachel opened her mouth to say something, but just shook her head.
"She's your girlfriend, Santana. What's wrong with her joining us?" Kurt questioned and took a sip of his cider.
"First off, she's not my girlfriend. I kinda like her, but not enough to date her. Sure, she's hot, but not my type. And second off, I only fool around with her. Sex isn't dating."
As the words left her lips, so did the anger. Sex isn't dating. Dammit. Why the hell does everything go back to... her. Santana huffed and quickly shook it off. She stood up, grabbed what was left of the cider, and walked towards her room.
"Call Dani and tell her not to come over. I'm going to bed." Santana concluded and shut the door behind her.
In the other room, Kurt and Rachel just sat there looking at each other. "She still loves her." Kurt said. Rachel just nodded. That's all there was to say. And maybe, that's all there ever was to say.
And there you have it! Thank you Apple Slices for reading. Mr. And Mrs. Huggles oh and their 2,588 babies say thank you too. If you understand that then You're very special. Byyyye!
