"Kurt! Kurt Hummel!"

The countertenor looked up to see someone waving to him in the grocery store. A familiar blond head man was coming towards him, looking pleased. He knew it wasn't Adam, because normally his friend would try to sneak and get close and grab his shoulders in a tease. This was a shorter man, and when he got close to Kurt, he hugged him. Kurt looked over his shoulder, bewildered. A memory struck him and he pulled back.

"Chandler?"

"You remembered!" babbled the shorter man. "Sorry, I got excited when I saw you. I hardly ever come to this store, but when I saw you, I was glad I did. I haven't seen you in ages Kurt! I've been following your Broadway career and I've just got to say, wow. You've been doing so amazing. I knew you would when I first met you in the music store. You just screamed talent. I wish I had been an agent back then, I would have booked you straightway! I've got an eye for talent you see, and–"

"You're a talent agent?" said Kurt, surprised. "I thought you wanted to do shows?"

"I did," said Chandler. "But I got involved on the back end trying to inspire people to go into the industry that I got caught up in it. I'm working with another agent and we've got our own business." He took out a card and he handed it to Kurt. Kiehl & Brockenheimer Agency was written on the warm beige card along with a KBA written in a beautiful cursive font.

"That's– that's great Chandler," said Kurt, smiling. "I knew I hadn't seen you since I got to New York. I had wondered what you were up to."

"You thought about me?" said Chandler, excited.

"Once or twice," Kurt said, trying to let him down a little. He had remembered that he had been quite the ball of energy when they had first met. "You just start to thinking once in awhile of all the people in Ohio who had moved to New York."

"City of dreams," said the blond, taking Kurt's arm. "So… besides your Broadway and movie career– how are things? Are you still single in the city? Because I think I could show you some great spots if–"

A cough came from behind them, and the both of them turned and saw Rachel standing there, rubbing a hand on her abdomen while standing slightly sideways. By doing so, she was showing off her very pregnant belly. She was also holding two containers of fresh green beans and carrots. Kurt looked sheepish at Chandler as she walked around them both and placed them in the cart next to Kurt.

"I apologize for the interruption, but would you mind getting letting go of my husband? We need to finish up before he has to be back at work for an afternoon meeting."

Chandler was looking very surprised at Kurt. He had already let loose of Kurt and Rachel wrapped her arm around Kurt's waist.

"Sorry I was taking so long honey."

"It's no problem," said Kurt. "Goodbye, Chandler. It was nice to see you again."

"You– you're married?" Chandler finally managed to say.

"Five years," said Kurt, feeling a little bad for Chandler, but Rachel's amused face was making up for it. "And starting a family in about two months."

"Wow…. congratulations," Chandler said, looking somewhere between shocked and disappointed. "Fatherhood."

"Yeah, I'm scared," said Kurt. "You ready to go sweetheart?"

"Please. Someone's starting to sit on my bladder again," she said. They started walking away and Kurt looked back and saw Chandler Kiehl mouthing "Rachel Berry, really?" He shrugged and turned back. He kissed Rachel's temple as they started down the next aisle.

"You could have interrupted a little sooner."

"And miss the show?" teased Rachel. "I was just waiting for him to hit on you again."

"Apparently while he kept up with my career, he had ignored all the rumors about our marriage," he said with a light chuckle. "And don't think I didn't notice your jealousy Mrs. Hummel."

"A strange man was touching my husband," sniffed Rachel. "I'm pregnant and moody. He should be glad he still has his arm."
