Wedding Belles and Gents
It was the wedding of the century here in our own small town of Bon Temps and this humble society reporter was invited to attend! I am of course talking about the double wedding of Andy Bellefleur to Halleigh Robinson and Portia Bellefleur to Glen Vicks. This Delightful event took place on the beautiful Bellefleur Estate, which has recently gone under a massive restoration. The Brides were both beautiful and beaming in their Isabelle gowns ordered through Tara Togs, while the grooms stood tall and looked at them with love and pride in their eyes. Among the guests were almost the entire town of Bon Temps and quite a few Vampires as well.
The bar service was impeccable, of course what would we expect of our very own Sam Merlotte and staff. The food was wonderful and there was plenty of it. We were served a wonderful summer salad of bright green peas, shredded carrot, bell pepper, red onion, and celery in a ranch sauce, Roasted chicken with an orange glaze and chocolate cake with buttermilk icing, I am slightly embarrassed to admit that I ate every bite. The reception party was full of excellent music and dancing. I was very impressed at the use of local businesses for this event. Overall it was a wonderful wedding and one people will be talking about for years. We here at the Bon Temps Press wish the happy couple all the best in the coming years.
