A/N: This is just something that had been nagging at me for days, so I just had to write it up. Let me know what you think.

"Please Sara! Don't go."

"I'm going Grissom! Don't think you can stop me."

"Sara please. I need you."

"Gil, I need space. Away from Vegas."

"Then let me come with you."

"Why, Gil? You'll only end up hurting me."

"I don't mean to Sara. I love you."

"Then prove it Gil. Prove to me that you love me." Sara stopped by the door and faced Grissom.

Grissom crossed the room and reached out for Sara's hands. "Please."

Sara gave Grissom her hand. "My flight's in two hours."

"Grab your purse."

"What?"

"And your coat, we're going out."

"Grissom."

"Sara. You said for me to prove my love, so that's what I'm doing."

Sara reluctantly followed Grissom out of the door and into the car.

After twenty minutes of driving, Grissom pulled up to the best romantic restaurant in the whole of Vegas.

"I wasn't going to bring you here until our anniversary next week." Grissom opened Sara's door and helped her out.

"But-"

"No buts, Sara. You told me to prove -"

"I know." Sara held out her arm and Grissom took it, leading her to a table.

"I've had this planned for months, I just didn't count on me hurting you again."

Sara leaned across the table shortly after they ordered and kissed Grissom. When Sara pulled apart, she smiled her
infamous smile, Grissom returned her with his goofy grin, just as the food arrived .

The pair sat in silence for a few minutes while they started their starter.

"This is great Gil."

"I know the chef."

"I'm speechless."

"Enjoy. There's more to come yet."

"Can't wait." Sara and Grissom smiled at each other.

Ten minutes later, Sara and Grissom were finishing up their main course and choosing desserts.

"What you having, Gil?"

"Probably a large slice of the triple chocolate cake. You?"

"I can't decide, but that sounds good."

"It's the best. We can buy a whole one and take it home with us, if you want."

"Really?"

"Yup. Charles really won't mind."

"Okay then. Triple chocolate it is." Sara giggled and the pair continued to make small talk until two large slices of cake and a whole special packaged one were delivered to their table.

The pair continued to talk well after they finished their pieced of cake.

"Come with me, honey." Grissom grabbed the cake and Sara's hand.

Sara followed and sat in silence as they drove for another twenty minutes.

"We're here."

Sara climbed out the SUV and met Grissom at the top of the hill.

"Oh, Grissom. It's beautiful." Sara once again flashed her infamous smile and turned to Grissom who was on one knee.

"Sara Sidle. Will you marry me?"

"Yes."

Grissom stood and began his assault on her lips before retrieving a blanket and making love to his beloved.
