PAYING RESPECTS

On the Kree homeworld of Hala the remaining members of the guardians,Rocket Raccoon,Groot,Gamora and Drax stand before the statue memorial of Starlord and Nova. Many Kree walk by the the group and bow in honor of them and their fallen allies. The team is somewhat surprised at the gestures.
Rocket slowly approaches the statue,he then looks up at the statue. "It's been five years friends since you two stopped that bastard Thanos. And though you two are gone we carry on," Rocket said. The team listens while Rocket gives his speech. Rocket continues to speak to the statue telling all that the team will continue be there for the universe if it is needed.
"That wasn't a bad speech Rocket", Gamora said. "You are right about one the we stay together as a team even if is just us four".
"Just you four I'd assume you would need some help".
The team turns around and they are surprised to see a familiar face. This familiar face was in the form of their former teammate Mantis. She approaches the statue and pays her respect. Groot grabs Mantis and the two hug each. "I am Groot",he said
"Hello,Groot it is good to see you as well but please can you put me down?",Mantis asked. Groot puts Mantis down then Rocket asks the Celestial Madonna how she arrived on Hala. She tells the team this is the first time she paid her respect in person. She usually does it telepathy. "It is good to see you Mantis,you look well",Drax replied.
"I have been well Drax",Mantis answers. "But I can not lie I miss the days with guardians".
Rocket looks at Mantis." Well I'll tell you.. you're welcome to join us,Mantis the more the merrier. Besides don't want Gamora here feeling like it's what's that Earth say ing again?" Gamora stares daggers at Rocket. "Do you want to keep your jaw,Rocket? However,Mantis Rocket is right you're always welcomed."
"Agreed,many of our former teammate have moved on or returned home like Moondragon",Drax said.
"Moondragon returned to Earth you say,Drax".
"Drax looked at Mantis."Yes, my daughter has returned to Earth. My place is out here she doesn't need me".
Mantis continues to feel more at ease of rejoining the team. She steps back towards the statue of Starlord once is it was as if she was looking for a sign. She turns her attention again to the others gives them a smile. "I shall join you all with the likes of the Nova Corp gonna the universe need us even more",she replies.
" Gotta say I agree we've got Starlord's legacy to live up to Mantis. The legacy of the Guardians of the Galaxy",Rocket said.
Elsewhere,on board Badoon star cruiser,two Badoon conversant with each other about something they found.
"This is a great find,brother".
"Indeed,and to think we nearly did not fall upon this great find".
The two Badoon stare at a capsule chamber with a figure in it. The two are please on what they found as the figure is motionless.
