A/N: A little drabble I came up with for Rose/10, Im not quite sure about it but as Im at uni its harder for updating; oh and by the way, for those who are reading 'Jealousy of a Timelord' I just want to let you know that Im close to updating and finishing the story as I have the ideas in my head... the next couple of weeks should be the updates :)

She had promised him forever but fate didn't seem to agree. Fate didn't seem to believe the happy ending was for them, they couldn't be left to just wander in peace; no they had to be kept apart because happy didn't suit everyone.
It was one of those typical love stories it seemed, boy meets girl, boy saves girl from aliens made of plastic, girl falls in love with boy, boy falls in love with girl, neither say how they feel in case the other doesn't feel the same way, boy changes, girl unsure of boy, girl realises she loves him anyway, boy and girl travel more, fall even more in love, he kisses someone else, her heart breaks, girl still loves him. Girl loses boy on alien planet, boy survives because of how much he believes in girl. Boy and girl try to save the universe, girl ends up in a parallel universe, and boy and girl both feel broken. Boy and girl stand on beach, boy tries to say goodbye but it hurts too much, girl tells boy she loves him, boy tries to say it but runs out of time, girl never sees boy again.
Boy and girl heartbroken and the only ones can fix it are inhabiting different universes.
It wasn't your typical love story really, he didn't save her from a dark castle, he didn't whisk her off on his noble steed, he didn't marry her, he didn't shower her with all the riches in the world, he wasn't a prince and she wasn't a princess.
Except to her, it was, it was like a love story, he was her prince, and he did save her. He was this wonderful, amazing, impossible man, he came and he showed her more than she could ever imagine. He showed her that humanity survives, that time moves on but so do the people, he showed her the future, the good and the bad, and he held her hand every step of the way. He created her, he created Rose Tyler into something so much more. She was knighted for god's sake, banished straight after, but still, the point stands, she was knighted. She had made history books, all because of him. She had changed her life because she was with him. She wanted him more than anything in the entire world, and wanted nothing more than to be with him.
He was her prince and he always would be, he had saved her so many times, he had saved her life and brought her back and always, always had a way of getting out of any situation. She hoped he would find a way to fix the situation, but she knew that he was unable to, knew that just this once he could try everything and he would never be able to save her.
Sometimes, just sometimes, some love stories had to remain legends...
