"Akito Hayama!" Shrieked Sana Kurata, "How dare you?" Akito sighed as Sana went off on some tangent about how he had called her friend Aya a rude name. "Are you even listening to me?" Sana hollered in his ear. Just then, Sana's manager Rei pulled up in front of their Junior High school. Sana threw Akito a nasty look as she got in the car.
Rei rolled his eyes as Sana ranted about Akito's antics. "Sana," He began, "You need to calm yourself down. We only have an hour before the filming starts, and you need to get into your character." Sana was headed to a studio to do some of the last week of filming for the movie she was starring in. "Oh yeah! Naozumi will be there!" Sana said, "I haven't seen him in such a long time!"
As they drove up to studio's parking lot, paparazzi began to swarm. Naozumi, Sana's good friend who was also an actor, eagerly ran out to greet her, carrying a large bouquet of roses. The two embraced, and then walked into the studio to begin filming. The whole week, Naozumi would surprise Sana with nice notes, flowers, and even a cake! The paparazzi loved it!
The next week, as Akito entered the school, his best friend Tsyoshi ran up to him carrying the latest issue of Japan's most popular celebrity magazine. On the cover was a picture of Naozumi handing Sana flowers with the caption, "Naozumi's big HEART beats for Sana!" Tsyoshi snickered. "Looks like you've got some competition Akito!" Akito scowled, and then flipped to the article. It was full of pictures of Naozumi giving Sana gifts. The entire page was covered in hearts. And that is when Akito realized. If he wanted to win Sana's affection, he had to have….. A HEART!
