More than They Bargained For

Chapter 1-A Not-So-Normal Day
Why? Why did weird things like this always have to happen to me? Granted, I was living in another galaxy, Pegasus to be exact, where weird was actually normal. And where in Pegasus was I? Well, the Lost City of all lost cities: Atlantis. Yes, that mythical continent that supposedly sank to the bottom of the ocean is up and running thanks to yours truly…and Ancient Elizabeth.
But I digress, back to life in this quaint little area of the Universe. A normal day is as follows: dealing with technology older then what you'd typically find on Earth, fighting off life-sucking alien vampires, occasionally blowing things up. And then there are the not so normal days here.
Like the one I'm having today.
