His smile.
I couldn't imagine that: how a little smile could change a life. My life.
It was a rainy day. It's so rarely raining here! I entered in the hall and took the elevator.
I came in front of the door. I knocked and came in. Angela was there, lying on her bed, asleep. I looked at her and moved torward him. He was so cute. I looked at him and saw it: his smile. It was so gorgeous, so wonderful. I felt tears on my eyes, downed on my cheeks. He smiled at me. I was so happy. I smiled at him back, when I felt two strong arms slipped around my waist and hold me tightly to him. We didn't say anything during a little time. Then, I just said it: « I want one!!! »
It's weird. Nobody could imagine it. I'm so selfish. But, since last year, I changed.
If somebody told me eight years ago that I will move in Vegas, do great stuff, have a real life, real friends, I will say « ok, tell me where I sign!!! ». But, if this same someone told me that I will meet the man of my life, I told them : « are you kidding? ».
When I moved in Vegas, I could never imagine it. But it happened. After a lot of disillusion, it happened. After Hank, this bastard who cheated his girlfriends with me, Grissom who snubbed me, it was impossible. But this May, 11th changed it.
When Brass woke up, I was so happy. I thought Grissom changed and he told me. After sleeping with him, I realized I made the BIGGEST mistake of my all life!! I decided to move on. I was so bad. They all saw that but nobody was interested by it. Only one person was: Nick.
He took care of me. We talked a lot. Then we played our favorite game: flirt. We did it since the first day we met, when he was in that hotel roof. During seven years, it was a game. But it became to be more and more serious. We became to date on a regular and after six month, we realized that we were in love with each other.
We are together since a year, the best of my life. I'm feeling so good with him.
After my revelation, he looked at me. He was really surprise.
« You're serious? »
« Yes, I'm »!
« You want a baby? With me? »
« No actually with Rick but I prefer tell you before! Of course with you Nicholas!! »
He didn't say anything else. I just saw a big smile on his face.
« It's cool cause I want one too!!! »
We staid like that, smiling, kissing and looking at Matthew. Who could imagine that, a smile of Nick's nephew, could provoke this reaction on me. I wanted to be a mother and I will become one!!!
