I cant take back what I said, and I know it. I promised to be your gaurdian, to forever care for you. To be part of a family you never had, to give you the warmth you needed at such a young age. Your skin, soft to the touch, those large, blue eyes staring at me from afar. Then me, with my cold, dead fingers, tried to keep you safe as long as possible. But look at where we are. I returned to my grave, and left you alone. I promised, didnt I? While holding your small body against mine, I gave you a promise, spoke as if I swore to keep it.
But dont let this stop you from living. You'll live a wonderful life without me, that I know.
