~Chapter 1~
~In Makai~
At the edge of the forest in makai, standing on a cliff above the sea, invisible against both the night sky and agianst the forest a figure stood gazing at the moon. Clad in a black ninja uniform, and unreconizalbe as to what gender if you were standing far enough away, the figure appeared to be a very short female. Only her eyes could be seen reflecting the moon's rays.
~In Koenma's Office~
"Deep in the forests of Makai, is a temple that soposedly, holds the gateway to the eighth hell or, the Vampire Realm. There are old ledgends about the realm and the gate, which is called Shikiori's Eye. It is said there are gaurdians protecting the gate, sacred beings that hold the power to pass through into the realm." the toddler's voice could be heard saying, irritating the reikai tentai who had been called in for a mission only to have story time with the pacifier sucking lord Koenma.
The only one who was really paying attention was the red headed Kurama. Kuwabara was straining his puny mind trying to comprehend what the toddler was saying. Yusuke was standing there annoyed that he had been woken up from his much needed sleep, and Hiei was standing off in the shadow. (A.N. I know... but just humour me...)
"So I need you to go find it and bring back one of the guardians."
"Why do we have to go and find some stupid old temple and bring back a stupid guard?!"
"Not just any guard Yusuke, you need to bring back Ayame." Koenma said as he pressed a remote and the giant oval screen flickered on and showed a file of information aparently about this Ayame person.
"Why can't you just show us a picture?!"
"Because we dont have one. If we did that's what I'd of shown you but we dont so take good mental notes!"
~Later at the portal to Makia~
"Stupid pacifier breath! Why'd he have to give us this stupid mission and send us to stupid Makai to go find some temple and bring some chick back with us?!"
"I don't know but I bet she's pretty like Yukina!" Kuwabara said before he jumped through the portal.
"Hn. Dumbass."
"Bye boys" Botan said as Hiei, Yusuke and Kurama stepped through the portal and were sucked into makai to go look for the temple.
~In makai on the cliff~
"They're comming for you. You know that right?"
Yes I know it, I just dont care. They wont even stay alive long enough to relize that I killed them."
