In case if you guys were waiting on the new chapter of SVU. I didn't have enough time last week because of testing, don't worry I'll get the next chapter going, in the meantime enjoy this short story of one of my favorite hetero couples.
Bulma was sitting in her room gazing at the twinkling stars underneath the black sky. Seeing how enormous the sky is makes her feel really small. Not only that, it reminded her the days when her and Goku spent their childhood together going on different adventures. She smiled to herself "I still can't believe how that annoying brat grew up to be the world's handsomest hero." She gasped "Did I just call him handsome again? I have to stop doing that. I'm going to end up saying it out loud in front of someone like Krillin, Vegeta or worst, Chi Chi." Bulma thought to herself "I wonder... When we crossed paths the first time, was it a sign we were suppose to be together? If it was then I really screwed up on my destiny. I mean I'm happy to have my family, I just wonder what life would've been for us if Goku and I ended up together." Bulma took a deep sigh "I wish I could've took advantage of our time together, it all went too fast." All of a sudden Bulma heard "What went too fast?" Bulma shrieked, but recognized the voice. She looked outside to see her best friend floating outside her window sitting on top of nimbus. "For Kami's sake Goku don't scare me like that!" Goku chuckled "I'm sorry Bulma, I didn't mean to scare you." "What are you doing here anyway?" "Well Chi Chi sort of kicked me out of the house. She said I bother Gohan too much, and she wants him to study in peace." Bulma replied "Oh… I see." Goku asked "So where's Vegeta at?" "Training inside the gravity chamber." Goku laughed "Good old Vegeta." Goku joined next to his best friend staring at the stars in the sky. "Makes you feel small doesn't it?" Bulma was surprised that Goku thought the same thing. She smiled "It does." Goku asked "What were you saying before about going so fast?" Bulma spoke nervously "Oh… I… I was remembering the first time we met." "I see… what about it?" "Well… I felt like the years went by so fast." "We were saving the world from the red ribbon army and Piccolo. Not to mention the martial arts tournament keeping us busy most of the time." "I know I just wish we could've had more time to hang out besides saving the world." "Oh, I see what you mean." After a quiet moment passed by Goku spoke "Bulma?" Bulma replied "What is it Goku?" "I never gave you the thanks for taking me out on all those adventures together so... thank you." "You don't have to thank me Goku, you were the one saving the world millions of times. Everybody else trained you, I was just there." "But if we hadn't met, none of this would've happened. I'd probably still be up in that mountain doing nothing but trying to survive everyday." "Goku…" Goku started leaning in, Bulma spoke "I… What can I say..? I feel…" she was interrupted by Goku pressing his lips onto hers." After about a minute he freed Bulma "G...Goku… what..? Wha…Why did you…" Goku hugged her "Thanks for taking me out on an adventure." Bulma's eyes widened "Goku what do you…" suddenly Bulma heard crying coming from her son's crib. She went over there and quickly held him trying to calm him down. Goku spoke "I better get going, Chi Chi's probably waiting for me at home. I'll see you later." "Wait Goku!" Bulma tried to stop him but Goku teleported "Dammit" Vegeta barged in the room "Was that Kakarot!? Why was he here!?" Trunks cried louder "Dammit Vegeta can't you ever keep your voice down!?" "Shut up woman, I want to know why Kakarot was here!?" Bulma growled at him "He just stopped by to say hi!" "The next time he comes over call me!" "Just get out of here so I can put Trunks to sleep!" Vegeta slammed the door. Bulma rocked her baby boy to sleep. "It's okay Trunks the scary man is gone." Bulma stared at the sky again "Why did you do that Goku?"
Meanwhile Goku teleported near the area where his house is and started flying home "I shouldn't have done that, but... I love Bulma. I love her so much." Goku felt his heart heavy with emotion. He finally got to his house. He tries to open the door but it's locked "*sigh* Chi Chi locked me out again." He teleported inside his house. "Goku!" Chi Chi yelled. "Don't teleport so loud, Gohan's still studying!" Goku tried explaining to his wife "But Chi Chi you locked the…" Chi Chi scowled at him, Goku told her "Nevermind I'll be upstairs in bed." "You better, cuz if you bother Gohan I promise I'll force you to sleep outside!" Goku opened and closed the door quietly, trying not to anger his wife again. He threw himself on the bed and layed there. He looked outside his window gazing at the twinkling stars underneath the black sky. "It all went too fast alright."
