Lorelai and Sookie sat at the counter at Luke's.
"Oh, yeah. I'm a big fan of that. And, plus I love dogs, so I think it's okay that I borrow their style. What about you?"
Sookie placed her finger to her chin as she thought. "Missionary is fine with me."
Lorelai made a face. "Really? It's okay, but I need variety, and sometimes it's good to look at things from a different angle, if you know what I mean."
"Yeah, I know what you mean," Sookie agreed.
"But, you know what I love the most?" Lorelai asked as she rolled her eyes back excitedly.
Sookie sat up with interest.
"I love, love, love, LOVE when a guy gets--"
"Can you two either get out or talk about something more appropriate for a family venue?" Luke interrupted.
"Were we loud?" Lorelai asked with a smile.
"Yes," his hissed.
"Calm down there, Diner Man."
Sookie laughed at Lorelai's calm tone. "Well, I have to go, guys. I'm sure Luke won't mind taking my position in this conversation." Sookie winked at Lorelai and giggled her way out of the door.
Lorelai looked at Sookie leave before turning to Luke with a grin. "So, new Sookie, where was I?"
"You were right about to change the subject."
She thought. "Nooooo," she said slowly. "I don't think that was it."
He rolled his eyes harshly and started wiping down the countertop. Lorelai leaned over and stared at him closely. "What?" He asked with annoyance.
Lorelai looked around and back at him before answering. "You're intense," she said quietly.
"What?" He asked again.
"You're intense," she said again. She smiled slowly. "I bet you like the puppies. Am I right?"
"Again...I...ask," he said slowly. "What?!"
Lorelai hit the countertop softly. "In the bedroom, Luke." She whispered the next part just so he could hear. "Just between you and me, you like doggystyle, right?"
Luke looked around with embarrassment. "I can't believe you just said that!" He said low.
"But, it's true, though, isn't it?"
He hesitated. "No."
Lorelai's bright blue eyes began to cloud. "That's too bad," she said backing up.
Luke saw the change in her eyes, and he wanted to know what was on her mind. "Why is it--um--too bad?" He asked curiously.
Lorelai licked her lips as she gathered her stuff. "Because the way I'm feeling right now, we could have had a really great...conversation," she said intentionally.
"And--um--how would that conversation go?"
Lorelai smiled and got comfortable again. "Question?"
"Sure," he said tossing his towel aside.
"Are you a noise maker?"
Luke swallowed again. "Sometimes." He looked straight at her. "Usually I produce them, though."
Lorelai shook her head. "Nothing wrong with that."
He nodded with utter distraction.
Lorelai's eyes started to, not so subtley, look Luke up and down. "How is your stamina?" She asked boldly.
His chest heaved. "It's to be reckoned with," he answered without hesitating.
She stared at him. "So little to no noise, huh?"
He nodded.
"You've been with the wrong women," she said calmly.
Luke looked at her lustfully and she slowly stood while looking back at him. "You want to...watch a movie tonight? My house? Eight?"
"I'm there."
She nodded and smiled. "Bring some cond---iments. I'll bring the rest."
He nodded and watched her walk to the door. "Hey!" He called. She turned. "Make it seven."
"Seven it is." She winked and exited.
