CHAPTER 1
He watched from the rooftops as the group of Survivors walked through his territory. The Hunter felt the burning hunger in the pit of his stomach that only was soothed as he ate the succulent meat of human and lapped up their red blood.
Just like every other Survivor, they held the death boomsticks that had killed many of his brethren, and too many of the Commoners. They needed to pay for their crimes. The Immunes were not allowed to be alive in the new world where the Infected ruled.
The Hunter watched as the one female Survivor bashed away a Commoner before blasting it in the face, spraying its brains and blood all over the wall behind it. She yelled something before throwing a small object. It made rapid, beeping noises and gave off flashes of red as the Commons surrounded it. The small thing blew up, taking all the Commoners with it in a blaze of gory. He whipped up his head and saw as the flying machine the humans controlled flew over the Survivors, and the dark skinned human ran off.
The Hunter hopped from building to building, before stopping just above the Immune and giving a grim smile. He started to growl as the Immune looked around for his team and the growl gave way to a kill screech as he leaped and landed on the dark skinned Immune. Blood, red hot blood, flew everywhere as he clawed at the Survivor whose screams only proved to attract the Horde who assisted in killing the Immune.
Finally, the Immune fell limp and it was by his scent that the Hunter knew he was dead. He ripped off an arm and started to take chunks of meat and swallowed them, the burning hunger soothed. The Hunter grabbed another arm, leaving the rest for the Commoners when he heard the yells of the rest of his team and leaped, scaling the building.
He settled on the roof of the apartment, tearing off long strips of the Survivor's arm before the burning hunger left his stomach and he drifted into darkness.
