Turquoise Flames
Forest eyes scan the landscape that is True Cross Academy. Arthur sighs and runs a hand through his hair as he examines the guarded entrance. The conversation he has earlier coming back to him.
Arthur is sitting at a restaurant table and across from him is a man with black hair and brown eyes. Both are drinking tea.
"So Kiku, you didn't call me here just to have tea, did you?" Arthur asks
Kiku puts his cup down and sighs.
Īe, I didn't" he looks around the room before looking back at Arthur "Recently people have been talking about seeing strange creatures around the country and they are relating them to an incident that happened at a place called True Cross Academy" Kiku whispers to him
"So you want me to look into it?" Arthur asks
"Hai, this apparently has something to do with demons and I know they and other mythical creatures are your specialty"
"It is" Arthur whispers back
The two finish their tea and stand.
"I will look into this True Cross Academy for you"
'This is going to be more work than I originally thought…'
"Guards and barriers, this is going to be a tough job isn't it Arthur?"
A mint colored winged bunny says from Arthurs right shoulder. Arthur hums in agreement. He walks around, trying to stay out of the guards' line of sight.
'How in the world am I supposed to get in?'
He catches a glimpse of a male student walking around in a uniform.
"Uniform it is then" Arthur says
He walks away thinking of how to put together the uniform. He will come back the next day.
Arthur walks up to the school and looks up at the enormous building
'I'm a little old for high school but I hope this works'
He waits until the guards were changing shifts somehow sneaks past them. the students are currently in class giving Arthur the opportunity to walk around. And it is amazing. The school itself looked normal but the rest looked really confusing. There was no way anyone could go without getting lost.
Arthur doesn't bother trying to go inside for fear of running into someone. Instead he wonders around the grounds taking note of everything he sees. He jumps out of his skin and nearly falls into the flower bed in front of him when the bell rings. He pulls out his phone and checks the time. It's almost noon meaning… Lunch! He runs around like a headless chicken for a for a bit then takes off.
He comes across a fountain with five creatures at the upper rim. He walks over to it and climbs up so he can examine them further. He is about to touch one when the sound of approaching voices startle him.
He loses his footing and falls into the thankfully shallow water with one of the spurts pouring water on his head. With a groan he turns around to see seven people staring at him. One of them, a boy with black hair, blue eyes and pointed ears snickers the bursts out laughing. Another boy with red hair a blue eyes also starts laughing.
Arthurs cheeks turn pink and he grumbles as he attempts to pull himself out of the water. He stands and tries to climb down but because of his wet clothes he slips and pain shoots up his back when he lands on his ass on the lower rim.
The girl with blond hair and green eyes rushes forward to help him stand.
"Are you alright?" she asks, holding his arm
"No" Arthur groans
Another bloy who looks like the laughing ones' twin comes forward.
"He needs to lay down and a dry set of clothes"
Arthur waves his hand to dismiss them.
"No, just give me a second"
He straitens and there is a loud crack the Arthur sighs.
"Ah, much better"
The girl is still holding his arm. Arthur looks at her with a charming smile.
"You can let go now" he practically purrs
Her hands fly off him and she has an adorable blush on her cheeks.
"I'm so sorry!" she shouts
"It's alright, by the way what's your name?" he asks "My name is Arthur Kirkland"
"Shiemi Moriyama" Shiemi says, still blushing
Arthur takes her hand and kisses the back on if it.
"It is a pleasure to meet you Shiemi"
It is obvious to the others he is flirting with her. Arthur looks up at the other girl with long dark purple hair tied in two pony tails and red eyes.
"And who might you be lass?" he asks
She crosses her arms and turns away.
"Don't think your flirting will work on me" she says with a blush, then "Izumo Kamiki" Izumo mumbles
Arthur strolls over and takes Izumo's hand kisses the back of it like he did with Shiemi. The red hair boy stops laughing and smacks Arthurs hand away.
"Stop flirting with our girls" he growls
Arthur steps back with a chuckle.
"Sorry, it's a habit to flirt with pretty girls" he says, holding his hand up in surrender "And who might you be?"
"Shima Renzō" Shima snaps
"And you?" he asks the no longer laughing twin
"Rin Okumura and four eyes is my younger brother Yukio"
"And you two?" Arthur asks
"Suguro Ryuji" Answers the blond and black haired boy with brown eyes
"Konekomaru Miwa" says the grey haired boy with brown eyes
Arthur nods in approval then a shiver runs down his spine.
"I would like to take Yukio's suggestion and get a change of clothes" his stomach growls "And something to eat please"
