Letter, Lust, Lies, Love
Author's Note: Well I have been planning this story for sometime, and I have finally decided to write it. It will be a short type of story, hopefully. Although writing this story is very important to me, my main priority at the moment is finishing, "When Love Intervenes" as it is my longest story. So thank you for reading my author's note and for taking the time to read the summary and click on my story. Enjoy mates!

The Letter
A letter, a simple form of communication.
A way to inform a personof what has happened since they last communicated.
A letter is supposed toinform a person, so that when the person arrives they know what to expect.
A letter is never to take the place of a person.
A letter can communicate a person's deepest thoughts but what a letter.
Not a love letter, a checking up letter or anything similar.
What a letter does is inform a person of the good and or bad news, and that is exactly what this letter did.
Dear Mrs. Elizabeth Turner,
I regret to be the one to inform you of our latest discovery. The pride of our navy, The gallant, was sailing just of the coast of Singapore, when we found something, or rather someone adrift. Curious, we brought the person about. Now the moment they were brought aboard the ship, we noticed something rather odd about the body, once confirmed dead. A large scar was found directly over where their heart should have been. We suspect the man, was killed by a fatal cut across his chest. What surprised us the most, was the object that he in his hand. We believe, after extensive checking with the ship's doctor, that the item in his hand was his heart. The blade sticking out of it, firming in the palm of his hand. Although we are not certain, we are pretty sure. That this man, your husband, we later found out, was in a deadly battle. In the end he received a fatal wound across his chest, before the killer cut out his heart and placed it in his hand, the blade they obviously used to stab him, placed into his heart.
We understand that this news will be hard on you, and will take you some time to adjust to. We are all very sorry about your loss, and we intend to pursue the pirates who killed your husband. We are almost certain that it was pirates who killed your husband because shortly after two pirate ships were seen leaving just off in the distance by one of our look outs. One of the ships had what appeared to be sea animals of some sort on the sides of the ship. While the other proudly barely pirate flag, had large black sails. We shall attempt to pursue these ships as we believe them to be wanted by the king.
Regards ,
Admiral Steven Pearson
