The sword sunk deep into her abdomen, just missing her spine. Her breathing was labored, and blood dripped out of her mouth. Her vision blurred and her head bobbed once.

Unconsciousness

"Hikari-san...Hikari-san, are you awake yet?"

who is that...that voice...Mother?...is that mother...

Isuzu Hikari's eyes flutter and open.

"Ma–-!"

Her eyes instantly widen, and she immediately sat up.

"Oh!. Please Hikari-san, you mustn't sit up. You'll tear your wound even more! P-Please lay back down. I-I'll go get the Doctor"

Damn! I hate hospitals. I...I am not staying here!

Isuzu slide off the stiff bed, and made her way to the door. She wore only bandages, so she grabbed anear by plain kimono. It had no obi and was more of a robe then a kimonoShe panted as she walked down the white halls of the hospital. No one was at the front desk so she checked her self out. Sweat ran down her forehead, and the bandages around her abdomen were stain red with blood. She walked out of the hospital, and entered a small market. Kids ran between her and other people making a zigzag path, she felt like...she didn't belong. Like she wasn't need in this world, every time she interacted with people she felt this way, like she was inferior. Before she knew where she was headed she was in front of the Hokage Tower. She opened the door no one was there it must be lunch. How strange that she had lost track of time. Slowly she climbed the stairs, until she reared the familiar old oaken door. Once, a long time ago her Grandfather, the third, sat behind the door, then her first Sensei, the fourth, sat behind there with his stupid, carefree grin. Then that carefree grin, the grin that made her want to cry and laugh at the same time, that grin was taken from her, by that damn fox demon. After her Sensei gave his life for the Village her Grandfather took his as Hokage again. Still even he didn't last, now her second Sensei, Tsunade-Sensei, had claimed the door, the chair, and the room its self. She slowly opened the door, and walked in. She slowly made her way toward the window. She fell before she reached the window...
