Staring blankly at the letter, Spencer let out a harsh sigh. She was desperate to find out who the letter was from, but most importantly, she wanted it to be from a certain someone - the boy she loved, Toby. The brunette slid her fingers under the opening of the envelope in a frightened manor, what if it wasn't from him? What if it was from... -A? The person/people that made her life hell.
Managing to put all her thoughts behind her, Spencer pulled out the letter, holding it carefully in both hands.

"Spencer, I'm sorry for what happened to us that last time but I had to leave. It's not that I don't love you, it's just that... I've moved on. I've found someone else. I know I left you wondering what happened which was out of line and unfair. It really isn't you, it's me. I'm selfish. I really do love you, and what we had was real, but Mona was there and she supported me when things got hard. You didn't. Things happened between her and I, it wasn't meant to but it did. She makes me feel safe and she doesn't sneak around, not like you do. At least I know where she is 24/7.
Good bye.

Toby. x"

A tear fell down Spencer's cheek, her heart felt like it was shattering in a thousand pieces. Mona out of all people, what was he thinking? Once again, she was wondering why. Why this happened to her, why he chose Mona, why he went away, what she did wrong. A billion questions gathered in her head, fuck, did she really mess this up? She just lost the one she truly loved, she didn't know what to do.

She heard a sudden knock at the door. Jumping up, she pushed the letter onto the coffee table, before strolling mysteriously towards the door. She hoped it was him, if it wasn't, she'd be so disappointed. Fixing her hair, Spencer removed the bolt from the door and watched in front of her once she yanked it open.

"Wren!" She gasped, shocked.

"Spencer." He smiled, stepping inside once she moved out of the way.

A few hours after they'd had a full conversation, they had hit it off to the bedroom. Spencer was on the bottom, her back arching strongly against the thick mattress, while Wren was straddled lightly over her, holding her just above her butt to keep her close. Their lips were passionately locked, their fingers interwined and their bodies brushed up against each others. Without a hesitation, Wren slid her shirt off over her head, his hands separating from hers to simmer over her breasts.

"Are you sure, beautiful?"

"Just tonight... But don't tell Melissa."

"Promise."
