A/N: This was based on an artwork I did (as you can see on the cover photo XD), so it's just really short compared to my other fics. I tried making it a drabble but, due to being used to writing really long one-shots, it's difficult for me to express this in only 100 words. So yeah…hope you enjoy it

IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE FULL VERSION OF THE ARTWORK, THERE'S A LINK ON MY PROFILE~ (yes, I will shamelessly advertise it here XD /gets hit by a tennis ball)

Pairing: Oshitari Kenya X Shiraishi Kuranosuke

Disclaimer: I don't own Prince of Tennis

Christmas Bet

Oshitari Kenya had no idea how on earth he ended up like this.

Well, actually, he did – and he cursed Shiraishi Kuranosuke for it!

It was not supposed to be like this! His plan should've went smoothly – but no! How was he to know that his captain was actually good at chess? As far as he knew, Shiraishi's interests laid somewhere else – like poisonous plants and that insect – oh, sorry, he meant Kaburiel (he was not jealous that Shiraishi paid attention to that little insect more than he did to him… pshh… of course not).

He had been ready! He even had to endure Yuushi's mockery when he practiced against him.

So how the heck did he end up wearing this thing instead? He was supposed to see Shiraishi in it, looking se – hilarious! (The image of Shiraishi wearing it was certainly not the reason for the blush emerging on his face… this was due to embarrassment – nothing else!)

Damn it, he should've known better than to make a bet with Shitenhouji's Bible.

~ooo~OoOoO~ooo~

"I hate you." Kenya grumbled with a dark glare as he tried to stop his face from heating up. On his lean figure was a tight-fitting red strapless dress with white fur embellishing its edges. There were matching red accessories around his neck and wrists, also decorated with white fur. All in all, he looked quite festive for the occasion.

Shiraishi simply chuckled at Kenya's grumbling, earning him a fiercer look. With a smile still gracing his features – unperturbed by the scowl fixed on his direction – he approached his companion.

Kenya's eyes widened as Shiraishi placed a swift kiss on his temple. "If it helps…" the tennis captain started, snapping the speedstar out of his shocked state. "… I think you look good in it."

"That doesn't help at all!" Kenya growled indignantly, his face turning marginally redder than before.

This only produced another chuckle from Shiraishi.

And, after a few moments of watching Shiraishi laugh, slowly but surely, Kenya's lips slowly twitched upwards.
