Husk
Yuzuki sees him peering over her, bright caramel eyes looking at hers, appraising her even as she smiles brightly and holds her chubby arms up, asking to be picked up.
Time, it seems, makes no difference in death. Despite the fact that Tsuna would have been around two years old by then, he appears to be past his toddler stage, maybe seven or eight years old. What Tsuna could have been is what he decides, and he appears as he wishes. The downside is that with no time to develop a personality, he is an empty book that cannot be written in.
He smiles, but it is a simple movement of muscle, not happiness that moves him to do. He holds a finger and watches as his little sister tries to grab it but only swipes a hand through his ghostly finger.
Tsuna is an empty husk, watching emotionlessly with a smile.
This author only recently realized that this was sitting in her PC. Enjoy, because she lost the plot bunny after this.
