My first YYH fic and actual first fic on FFN. I hope people can give me a break on this and offer some criticism where it's needed. Much appreciated!
There she was, the perfect girl.
Her innocence, her voice, her everything! Everything was perfect about her.
Yet, he couldn't have her.
Oh sure, the fool could have her because he wasn't related to her.
He was. And it was wrong to think of her that way.
"Hiei, are you OK?" The fire demon in the tree blinked and he looked down.
"Hn." That was always his response. Hn. The teenager who had asked him sighed.
"I'm guessing you're fine?" Hiei slowly nodded.
"I'm fine, Kurama." Kurama shook his head.
"Whatever you say, Hiei." The red-haired teen then turned around and left without another word. Hiei kepting looking North.
"Hn..." The demon slowly sat back on the branch he would always lie on. He kept thinking about her. The ice maiden that was his sister.
Yukina.
He took off the bandages that covered his third eye, his Jagan eye. It started to glow green and he saw the current act that was taking place at the old temple.
She was washing dishes, talking with the fool. She seemed happy, as well as the carrot-topped teen. The fool, Kuwabara, laughed nervously and Yukina smiled.
He made her happy. Something that Hiei knew he could never do, no matter how hard he tried.
Then, Kuwabara had wrapped his arms around Yukina's waist. She blushed scarlet. The demon growled. He decided to listen on what was being said.
"Yukina, you're so beautiful!" Kuwabara said in his usual goofy tone. The ice maiden smiled.
"Thank you, Kazuma," she said as she put a dish in a dish rack to dry. Kuwabara grinned.
...
It made him angry and depressed.
Angry because he wanted that to be him. Depressed because he knew it couldn't be. It was taboo.
Hiei jumped down from the tree, wrapping the bandages around his eye again. His faced showed no emotion, but inside, he was sickened.
He really was sick. How dare he love Yukina like...
Like she was his.
He merely sighed as he walked away from the spot.
"I am the Forbidden Child. Nothing, especially love, will ever happen to me," he muttered angrily as he soon disappeared.
