Hey, sorry for the long, loooong leave. I've been more active on DeviantART and Tumblr and since finals were coming up, I didn't have time to come here. But here I am now. Finals just got over and just in time for Valentine's Day, so I thought I'd write a story for my OTP. Anyways, enjoy the story.

It was Valentine's Day. Haruka wondered what she could do for Michiru that day. As she was walking by, she met Usagi, who seemed to be in a good mood.
"Hey, bun head. You seem happy" she said.
"Well, yes. Since its Valentine's Day, I thought I'd give something to Mamo-chan. I'm going to Mako-chan's house to learn to make sweets. What are you giving to Michiru-san?" she asked.
Sweets! That was it!
"I was thinking about it but I think I'll give her sweets as , bun head!"

Haruka went back to her condo. Michiru was shopping for groceries so she still had time. Admittedly, Haruka didn't know the first thing about making sweets. But she wasn't about to ask for help. This was something she was going to do on her own. She decided to give Michiru cupcakes because she felt chocolates were too cliche. So she looked up the recipe on the internet and did it according to what was given - at least, she tried.

During her first attempt, she had mixed the batter so much that the cupcakes wouldn't rise.

The second time, she mixed it so little, with the same result- the cupcakes refused to rise.

The third time, she forgot to add the sugar. As a result, the cupcakes tasted bland.

And the fourth, she did almost everything perfecty, but the chocolate got burnt because she left it in the oven for too long.

By this time, Michiru had finished shopping for her groceries and had come home. "Haruka, could you please give me a hand with the groceries?" she called.
"Oh no!" she thought. This was her fifth attempt and she was still in the mixing part. She didn't respond so Michiru would think she wasn't home.
"Haruka! Where are you?"
She went straight to the kitchen.

"Haruka! What are you doing? You've made a mess!"
"I- I can explain. I...I was just trying to make cupcakes."
"Make chocolate? But you don't know the first thing about cooking. Why didn't you ask for help?"
"B-Because...because I wanted this to be something I did myself. I wanted to make something special for you, Michiru. Its Valentine's Day, after all."
Michiru blushed and started to laugh.
"Oh Haruka. Here, let me show you to do it."

She held Haruka's hand while mixing and showed her the procedure for making cupcakes. This time, they came out perfectly. Afterwards, Haruka and Michiru decorated them together.
"Perfect" said Haruka. "Thanks, Michiru. Well, you can have them. They were made for you, after all."
"I won't eat all of them. Lets share it."
They took a cupcake and bit into a piece.
"Delicious" said Michiru. "You see the difference when I help you?"
"Michiru, do you think I could help you like this on White Day?"
Michiru just giggled and blushed.
